Lou Duayon: "There are no expectations - no disappointments"

Born in the creative family of director Jacques Doyon and actress Jane Birkin, Lou Doyon could not help but inherit the talents of her parents. And this is not surprising, because her half-sister - Charlotte Gainsbourg, which means that the young years of Lu were literally imbued with an atmosphere of self-expression.

Today the 35-year-old Parisian not only works as an actress and model. She already managed to record two albums with her friend, musician Chris Branner, and was recognized as a vocalist and award in the category "Best singer". Lou was shot in horror films and comedies, represented the world's brands as a model, and several years ago realized that her main passion was music. The life of the girl is filled with movement and the atmosphere of creativity.

"The whole city is a museum"

Being a native of Paris, Lou Duayon speaks about his city enthusiastically, with aspirations and notes that being a Parisian for her is a special happiness:

"This city is unusual and, of course, my favorite. If you compare it with other bright world capitals, it is worth noting that Paris is the smallest of them. But it does not matter, because the whole city is a solid museum. Here you can touch the architecture of the IV century, see the sculptures of completely different eras, feel the atmosphere of bloody revolutions and the greatest events. Everything here is imbued with the spirit of history. Paris for good reason is called the most romantic city, because here for many centuries great artists and artists have sought shelter, creating the world of the most daring fantasies. And over time the city began to bear this burden and must correspond to its status. Here everyone is born a critic, a connoisseur. Parisians always try to follow their appearance, to keep pace with the times, remembering that many discuss and evaluate us. "

"I try myself in different ways"

Talking about his daily routine, Lou recalls his British roots, which make themselves felt during breakfast and are genuinely surprised why many believe that she manages to cover the immensity:

"Breakfasts are very important for me. In the morning, my English roots awake with me, which require a full and nutritious breakfast from eggs, sausages, bacon and avocado from me. But my inner Frenchwoman whispers that you need to eat a crispy baguette with butter and a fragrant croissant. By nightfall, I'm still full of strength and energy. I usually read, I can watch a movie, and sometimes I even play the guitar. I'm so glad that my boyfriend is fast asleep and can do anything that my soul desires at night. I try to use everything that life offers me, to try myself in different ways. Sometimes I think why people are so surprised that I can do different things. All individually and for all its time. When I'm shooting for a magazine or a movie, there are a lot of people around, communication, fuss. When I paint, there's silence around everyone. For example, I prepared my third album all alone, and now I need to take it to the studio and work there. Then there will be a tour, a lot of work and a lot of people. And then I, maybe, I'll be alone again and get down to drawing. Everything is cyclical, everything changes. I really love to read. As a child, my father often made me read, and this lesson did not give me much joy. But at 10 I read Leklesio and everything suddenly changed. Since then, I and literature are inseparable. Together with the book I lived in love, met friends and lovers, suffered and joked, learned about cruelty and mercy, could travel through time and distance. It's wonderful and insanely exciting. I am sometimes asked if I want to write a book myself. To be honest, I do not think about it seriously yet. Although my mother often tells me that in old age he sees me as wise in the rocking chair. Maybe I will write by that time. But while all my time and thoughts are music. "

"Hope hurts the most"

Lou Duayon is often asked about love, and no wonder. So many heartfelt songs and utterances about deep feelings can not leave indifferent any admirer of the beautiful:

"Unhappy love is extremely difficult. Sometimes unseparated feelings are more difficult to perceive than the death of a loved one. Death does not leave freedom of choice - or you live with memory of your beloved, or you do not live at all. And in unrequited love lies a piece of hope that hurts the most. With this hope, a person can live up to the end of his days, without waiting for reciprocal feelings. And this is only your pain and your torment. I had unhappy love, I was young and inexperienced, I was looking for salvation in vodka, friends and cigarettes. Now I often recall Alan Watts, who said: "There are no expectations, no disappointments." But everything has passed and now everything is fine. "
