Munduk Waterfall

In the north of the Indonesian island of Bali is a small mountain village of Munduk. Next to it is not very famous, but one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Indonesia , whose name is consonant with the name of the village. It is located among the unique coffee-clove forest.

What is interesting about this place?

The height of the Munduk waterfall is 25 m. There are paths leading to it, some of them begin immediately at hotels and guesthouses. For the convenience of visitors, a ladder was built near the waterfall, along which it is possible to approach the water closer. In addition, the lower platform of the waterfall is corrected. First, the water falls on the rock, and then flows down a smooth slope and passes into a stream that goes into the depths of the jungle.

Some daredevils are trying to stand under the falling streams of water, but this should not be done: a powerful stream can be knocked down. But how nice it is to cool your feet in a leisurely creek that is moving away from the waterfall! There is even an ancient lantern covered with moss, but it has not worked for a long time. The waterfall of Munduk in Bali is surrounded by a unique nature. For example, the rocks around are covered with unusual bright green plants in the form of tiles.
