What to do with a nose injury, should know any person, because this kind of injury can be obtained both at work and on vacation.   1. The victim must be reassured, seated.
  2. In the absence of bleeding, the head should be thrown back, with nosebleeds - slightly tilt forward, while the patient must breathe through the mouth.
  3. On the bridge of the nose and neck, put a hot-water bottle with ice (for 15 minutes) or, as a last resort, a towel soaked in cold water.
  4. With severe bleeding, it is advisable to make a tamponade of the nose. Twisted in strong cotton wool, moisten in 3% hydrogen peroxide and place in the nasal passages for half an hour or until a specialist is examined.
  5. If there is a wound after a bruise, treat the damaged area with an antiseptic and cover with a patch.
  6. Give an analgesic tablet (Analgin, Ketorol, etc.).

  1. To eliminate hemorrhage and to remove the edema used ointments with a resorption effect (Heparin, Troxevasin).
  2. To reduce swelling, vasoconstrictive drops are used , for example, Naphthysine.
  3. In the presence of a wound, daily disinfestation is carried out.
  4. With pain, analgesics are used.

2-3 days after the injury, a specialist can prescribe physiotherapy.
