Plumeria - growing from seeds

Plumeria is a very beautiful tropical tree that can be grown in a pot. You can either buy it or grow it yourself. In this article, we will talk about growing plumeria from seeds at home.

The whole process can be divided into 3 main stages: preparation, germination and care in the first year.

Preparation

We take seeds together with wings. We put them in warm water. We put the container with them in a warm place. Do not swell the seeds. The rest should be dipped in a solution of the fungicide.

As a primer for plumeria, it is best to take a leafy, loose soil. Immediately before laying the seeds, it should be heated in a microwave (or in the oven) and poured.

Germination

  1. We pour the soil into a wide container.
  2. We stick a seed in it, with a winged upward, leaving it open.
  3. The container is covered with glass, leaving a vent for ventilation, and put it on a sunny and warm place. Regularly spray.

With proper care, the seed will germinate in 1-3 weeks. After this, it must be transplanted into a small pot and put on a sunny place.
