Prayer for health

According to religion, illness is a very good and useful thing. All of us should thank God for the sickness, because he sends them to us, to soften our hard heart and guide you towards God. Sometimes, when our own diseases are unable to teach us anything (or rather, we are unable to learn), God sends down sickness and suffering to the people closest to us so that we can change our minds, correct ourselves, and thereby obtain a cure for them from God. Remember, the illnesses and death of loved ones are often not their fault, but the result of your sins.

When someone in your house is sick, start treatment with a prayer for the health of the patient, buying a consecrated icon and a candle for the health of the temple. And only then, go for the doctor.

Saint Panteleimon the Healer

Before you read the prayer for the health of your loved ones, you must ask God to forgive you of your sins, to promise that you will reform (and really try to be better), ask God to implore forgiveness from those whom you have offended, and wish happiness to those who have offended you,

letting go of the feeling of anger from oneself.

The most powerful prayer for health is read to Saint Panteleimon.

St. Panteleimon lived a very difficult life: he healed hundreds and thousands of people, for which he was punished many times, and in the end, was executed. But even after death, this saint does not cease to pray to God for our cure, for every believer knows that it is not a medicine, not a prayer, not a saint, that frees the disease, but only the Lord God.

The next Orthodox prayer for health should be read before the icon of the saint. Do not disturb St. Panteleimon over trifles, and do not use it as a "preventive measure." St. St.Panteleimon is addressed only in serious cases.

"Oh, the great servant of Christ, the patristess and the doctor, many-merciful Panteleimon!"

Have mercy on me, sinful slave, hear my groaning and cry, please propitiate the heavenly, the supreme physician of souls and our body, the Christ of our God, and grant me healing from a disease that is oppressive.

Do not deserve the most sinful prayer of the most sinful person. Visit me with a graceful visit.

Do not turn away from my sinful sores, anoint them with the oil of your mercy, and heal me; may I spend the rest of my days, with the grace of God, in repentance and pleasing God, and will be pleased to perceive the good end of my life.

To her, God's servant! The supplication of Christ God, may your health be granted to my body and the salvation of my soul. Amen".

Prayers to Saint Matrona

The Holy Matrona is a simple Russian woman who lived in the Tula region from 1881 to 1952. Her real name is Matrona Dmitrievna Nikonova. In life she became an old man and helped all those who came to her for help, get rid of physical and mental illnesses. The old man had many popular "aphorisms". One of them warned lovers to envy and condemn others. The Holy Matrona said that in any case, each sheep will be suspended for its tail.

After her death, the old man was called Saint Matrona, and began to ask her for health in her prayers.

"O blessed mother Matrono, soul in heaven before the throne of God are forthcoming, the body is resting on the earth, and these miracles are exuding different miracles from above. Today, with your gracious eye, sinful, in sorrows, sickness and sinful temptations, Now you have mercy on us, desperate, heal our ailments, from God, by our sins, by our sins, deliver us from many troubles and circumstances, pray to our Lord Jesus Christ forgive us all our sins, iniquities and sins, from our youth, even to the present day and hour by sin, and through your prayers receiving grace and great mercy, we glorify in the Trinity the One God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever and ever and ever. Amen".
