Pulse therapy

Pulse-therapy is a rather new, but effective method of treatment, which is based on the use of special drugs in large doses for several days.

Pulse therapy with corticosteroids

Very often, with multiple sclerosis , pulse therapy is used, which allows to stop the exacerbation and quite effectively reduce the development of the disease. Intravenous administration of corticosteroids leads to a powerful anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilizing action.

Pulse therapy Methylprednisolone does not cause major complications and is faster metabolized in the body.

It is worth mentioning that the pulse therapy of Prednisolone is a fairly effective and affordable treatment in comparison with other infusions. The adrenal cortex secretes the hormone cortisone, and the artificially synthesized substitute is prednisolone.

Mediapred is an effective medicine used in shock doses in pulse therapy. Due to the action of the drug, neutrophil and monocyte suppression occurs. Using Mediapred is much more effective than Prednisolone, but this is a very expensive tool.

How do pulse therapy?
