Naples Scythian in Simferopol

Archaeological Reserve, which is the ruins of a powerful defensive wall surrounding the late-Scythian settlement. The new city - Naples, Neapolis was located at the intersection of trade routes and was the link between the steppe Crimea and the Black Sea coast. During the excavation in the city, about 70 ancient burials were discovered, the wealth of which suggests that it is the tomb of the great Scythian king Skilur. At the moment the reserve is abandoned, the wall is in a deplorable state, but because this place attracts mostly local residents - from the elevation of Peter's cliffs, once the magnificent Naples was situated, today a beautiful view of modern Simferopol opens.

Holy Trinity Monastery, or as it is also called the Temple of St. Luke (therefore, in it rest its relics) - one of the main religious attractions of the city of Simferopol.
