Tambomachay


One of the most important historical sights of Peru is the Tambomachay (Tambomachay) or the so-called Inca Bath. This massive ancient structure appeared in Peru precisely during the reign of the Incas and, it can be said that it was very well preserved until our time. Tambomachai attracts a large number of tourists and historians due to its interesting design and purpose.

Sightseeing tour

Initially, the structure of Tambomachai was intended for irrigation of gardens, which during the Incas were located around this complex structure. It consists of four massive levels of channels along which water cascades down. Finishes the design of a small sink, in place of which there was a huge fountain before.

Tambomachay located eight kilometers from the city of Cuzco , relatively near Puka Pukara . Many excursions to the outskirts of the city begin with the inspection of this amazing place. You can get here by public transport or a rented car (taxi) along the 13F highway. On the way to the sights along the road there are several homemade signs, which should be paid to any inexperienced driver.
