  1. A wavy parrot and cockatoos sometimes suffer from a lipoma, which most often manifests itself as a tumor on the abdomen or anterior part of the keel. In rare cases, it is found on wings, ovary, spleen and other organs. Malignant tumor is called liposarcoma. Unlike benign lipoma, the detected "ball" is usually located on the breast, does not ride, and has a vascular pattern. A more accurate diagnosis can only give a biopsy. Treatment is carried out with the drug L-carnitine. In difficult cases, the tumor is removed.
  2. Xanthoma is a bit like a lipoma, but this parrot tumor on the abdomen or other parts of the body has a bright yellow color and a vascular pattern. To the touch, it looks like an accumulation of adipose tissue. One of the reasons for this education is called fatty food. Treat the xantoma with the help of surgery.
  3. Hypertrophy of the cornea. Usually this organ has a certain color in parrots of females and males. At the first it is soft blue, and for cavaliers it is solid blue, bright blue, and sometimes lilac shade. The growth of the cornea, a change in its coloring to brown is a sign of problems on the part of the genitals (ovarian cysts, tumors).   4. In females, after hatching eggs, sometimes a hernia appears. This tumor in the parrot is eliminated by surgery, but this delicate treatment is carried out only with large breed birds.
