When he was rescued after 50 years of torment, the elephant cried

Al Raju is an elephant, who in his own skin had to experience all the pains that a man can only do. But now he is finally free. (CAUTION: photographs of animal cruelty are present in the article).

Meet this is the elephant Raju. He lived in India and ate only thanks to the gifts of tourists. Sometimes an unfortunate elephant had to have plastic and paper in order to fill up an empty stomach.

But fortunately, his story ended happily. After 50 years of life on the chain, beatings and bullying, Raju was finally released as a result of a rescue operation carried out by volunteers.

Representatives of the charitable organization Wildlife SOS in India released Raju, which drove the huge animal to tears.

I'm not kidding. Tears and truth flowed from the eyes of the elephant stream (((

A spokeswoman for the organization that conducted the operation, Puja Baypol said that the whole team was amazed to see tears rolling down the cheeks of the giant. All participants of the event realized - the elephant felt that his torment in the past, he is free.

In elephants, the large hippocampus is part of the limbic system of the brain, which is responsible for emotions. Due to it, animals are recognized as emotional and intelligent and can demonstrate a wide range of diverse behaviors. The brightest thing in elephants is to express those emotions that are associated with grief. In addition, they have well developed self-awareness, memory, speech.

Rescuers believe that Raju fell into the clutches of poachers, who either killed his mother, or set up traps in which only elephants can fall. It is terrible not only how the kidnappers behaved towards the animal, but also that the elephant mothers are very hard to part with the baby and cry for a few days. Horrible business (((

Representatives of the organization were worried that the owner of Raju would interfere with the operation. And so it happened - the man shouted, giving the beast a team and trying to scare him.

But the team did not give up. The founder of the organization Kartik Satyanarayan said: "We continued to insist on our own and made it clear in every possible way that we will not back down. And at some point tears rolled down Raju's cheeks. "

Of course, the cause of the tears was the unbearable pain caused by the chains. But no doubt, Raju also felt that the changes are close. Maybe the first time in my life ...

The elephant left the truck and made his first free step in a minute at midnight. All involved in the operation assure that they experienced at that moment some incredible emotions.

After the liberation of the Wildlife SOS, they started raising funds - 10,000 pounds - so that Raju could safely adapt to a new life and get into a happy foster family. Until now, everyone can donate a few dollars to Raju.
