The child often farts

Some parents are worried about a rather delicate problem. Their child often farts. We'll figure out why this happens and what to do about it.

Why does the child often farts?

Children are most farted in the first months of life. This is due, above all, to the immaturity of the gastrointestinal tract, and, as a consequence, increased gas production. It often happens that the child not only farts, but also cries while doing so. Perhaps outgoing gas tanks give him discomfort. In this case, you can try the carminative drugs, which reduce the size of the gas bubbles, making them easier to exit. Pediatricians are well acquainted with such means and they often prescribe them to children of the first half of life (espumizan, infakol and others).

If a child who is breastfed often fights, then the mother needs to analyze her nutrition well. Perhaps she eats legumes or fresh cabbage, which increases gas formation in the intestine.

How often farther children of older age are directly related to what they eat. Such products, mentioned above, like legumes (beans or peas), cabbage, apples and, in general, fresh fruits and vegetables, when decomposed in the intestine form gases. In addition, it matters in which order the child uses different foods. For example, vegetables and fruits are quickly digested, and if a child eats an apple before dinner, it will start to digest faster in the intestine, and because another heavier food will prevent it from passing through the intestine, the processes of fermentation and gas formation will begin.

What if the child farts a lot?

In principle, the fact that a small child comes out with gazicks is very good, so they do not accumulate in the intestines, thus violating the passage of feces and squeezing the walls of the intestine. Many small children even fart with feces, which is also perfectly normal.

But when a child farts with mucus and cries much, it can indicate a violation of the intestine, dysbiosis, or even intestinal infection. In this case, it is better to consult a doctor.
