Autoclave for manicure tools

Already for a long time manicure from ordinary hygienic manipulation has turned into a way of self-expression. But that the visit to the beauty salon does not cause serious health problems, it must be performed only by properly sanitized tools. So, according to the rules for sterilizing a manicure tool, you need to use a special sterilizer - an autoclave.

The sterilization of manicure instruments in an autoclave

Sterilization of the instrument in the autoclave is due to the action of hot steam in combination with increased pressure. And that these factors do not cause the appearance of rusty spots on the cutting edges, when carrying out sterilization it is necessary to adhere to the following rules:

  1. Before placing forceps, scissors and other tools into the autoclave chamber, they must be thoroughly cleaned of contaminants. This happens in three stages: first the tools are washed under running water, then they are treated with disinfectant solution, then they are again rinsed under a stream of water, then they are wiped dry with a clean cloth. Put wet or wet tools in the autoclave absolutely not - it is this negligence that usually leads to the appearance of rust stains.
  2. In the working chamber of the autoclave, the tools are laid out in one layer in the open state with intervals between them of several centimeters.
  3. Sterilization of instruments in the autoclave is carried out at a steam temperature of 120-135 degrees and lasts 20 minutes.
  4. To maintain the sterility of the instruments, after treatment in an autoclave, they should be placed in special bags. The type of the package depends on the period of "validity": the kraft package closed with a paper clip keeps sterility for 3 days, and the package is sealed with heat-sealing - 30 days.
