Description
The standard height at the withers is from 40-43 cm. The dog weighs approximately 9-11 kg. There is an interesting classification of basenji depending on the color. Currently there are four types:
- pronounced white with black;
- tricolor (black with a reddish tan and marks on cheekbones and cheeks);
- brindle (black stripes are seen on the red background);
- brick shade in combination with white color.
Regardless of the color, the Basenji always has a white breast, paws and the tip of the tail. However, white color never prevails over the main color. Color marks should be a saturated shade, with clear boundaries.
