Ceiling tiles without seams

Ceiling tiles without seams - this is a tile that has curved edges, which creates an illusion of the absence of seams on the ceiling. This type of decoration has recently become very popular, because it allows you to give the room an impeccable look and can be an excellent design solution for any room.

The main advantages of tile ceilings without seams

Such a tile is made of expanded polystyrene and has a number of advantages.

Firstly, it's very easy to put it. The process of laying ceiling tiles without a single noticeable suture does not require special knowledge and skills, it refers to standard repair work.

Secondly, this type of ceiling tile is durable and wears out very slowly. This coating perfectly copes with any, even the most severe operating conditions.

The third advantage, which for many can become decisive - is the price policy. The cost of such a coating is practically the same as the usual standard ceiling tile, but in its appearance it will definitely benefit. Therefore, it is better to buy much more beautiful and original finishing material for the same money.

Another important advantage of such a tile - it has an equalizing ability. Visually it will seem that the ceiling in the room is absolutely flat. After all, well-marked seams may well emphasize some roughness and unevenness on the ceiling, whereas the apparent absence of these seams does not make unnecessary accents.

Ceiling seamless tiles have resistance to fire, so another advantage of this product can be called fire safety.

This finishing material is very practical in use: it is easy to clean with various detergents, and it does not require special care.

The process of laying ceilings without seams

To make a ceiling without seams it is possible by means of a special tile about which it is written earlier.

First you need to properly prepare the surface before laying. It should be as flat as possible, and also pre-primed. Further it is necessary to make a correct marking, during which the ceiling is divided into four equal parts, which will be sealed in turn. Tiles must be glued from the center of the surface to the edges. The laying process is very simple: for each individual tile you need to apply a special glue that dries quickly. It should be applied around the perimeter of the tile, as well as on two diagonals. This should be done with drops. Because the glue is quick-drying, everything needs to be done quickly, spending three minutes on this process. After that, the tile must be glued and proceed to the next one. Tiles must be glued strictly along the contours, one to the other, so that there is no space left between them. Due to the contour of this finishing material, the seams will be invisible, provided all the rules of laying are observed.

If the tile needs to be cut, no problems should also arise, because the foam is cut perfectly with a conventional construction knife. In order not to notice the joints of the tiles with the walls, it is necessary to resort to special foam plinths that need to be glued along the perimeter of the room. This should be done necessarily, because if the ceiling is not visible seams, and the perimeter will be, the form of it will turn out unfinished.

If, however, because of the uneven ceiling, the seams between the tiles are still visible, they can easily be treated with putty . Provided that the work is done neatly, the seams will be invisible thanks to the contours of the tile.

Do not be afraid to resort to the use of new products in the repair, because every day there are new materials and new ideas how to make your home better and more comfortable.
