Children's traumatism in school

The bell rings for a change. The flow of schoolchildren blows up the tranquility of school corridors, so that the school begins to suddenly resemble a large beehive. However, unfortunately, not always the fun of the changes is safe.

The most common and at the same time the most dangerous are injuries resulting from strokes on the head. And as a result of such "harmless" tricks, as footsteps, pushing each other, children can get bruises and stretches of very different severity. The cause of childhood injuries is rooted in the fact that children often do not know (they are not warned) that playing safety games is necessary. The peculiarity of childhood traumatism is, first of all, its danger for the child's unformed organism, and therefore teachers working in such a restless audience should occupy not only the questions of mathematics, chemistry and biology, but also the prevention of children's injuries in school.

Types of child injuries and first aid

The main types of child injuries are domestic child injuries and child road traffic injuries. Consider the principles of first aid to a child who is injured as a result of his own negligence or because of the negligence of an adult.

  1. In case of a head injury, the child needs rest and cold compresses: lay it and apply cold to the site of the injury. If there is dizziness, vomiting, you need to call an ambulance, since these symptoms indicate a brain concussion.
  2. When stretching and bruising (and this is the main "companion" of childhood injuries in winter), first aid also consists in how you can more rapid application of cold compress and resting the damaged limb.
  3. In case the child was scratched, the wound should be washed with hydrogen peroxide and a sterile bandage applied. If bleeding does not stop, call a doctor immediately.
  4. If you have not examined, and the child has climbed into the medicine cabinet and used some medicine, call him vomiting as soon as possible, pressing on the root of the tongue. If you see that the child is overly excited or, on the contrary, too sleepy, it is necessary to call an ambulance.

Remember that the main way to avoid danger is to conduct instruction with children and to tell you that not every game is safe in the same way as it is interesting.
