Berodual is a complex bronchodilator. It is used for the treatment of bronchial asthma, various forms of bronchitis with a suffocating cough, dilates the bronchi and promotes the excretion of fluid from them, has expectorant properties, dilutes the mucus accumulated in the bronchi and lungs.
This medication is available in two forms - a solution for inhalation and a spray for inhalation.
Berodual - composition
Active substances: anhydrous bromide impratrpriya, hydrobromide fenoterola.
Excipients: sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate dihydrate, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Beroindual indications for use:
- bronchial asthma;
- pneumonia;
- various forms of bronchitis;
- to expand the bronchi, if necessary, aerosol administration of other drugs.
Berodual dosage for children and adults
Berodual for children under six years of age is only used under medical supervision.
Berodual to adults and children over six years of age is used according to the doctor's prescription. Dosage depends on the severity of the disease. The most often taken Berodual three times a day for two injections, if the cough is paroxysmal, then in five minutes, take two more doses.
The time interval for receiving the spray should be at least two hours.
Berodual - dosage for children for nebulizer
- Berodual for children up to a year is prescribed based on body weight, on average up to five drops in one inhalation. Dilute the drops in a physical solution;
- children older than one year and up to three years - up to ten drops in one inhalation;
- from three to six years - up to fifteen drops in one inhalation;
- from six to twelve years - up to twenty drops.
