Before you start making a Christmas nativity yourself, you need to understand how you want to see it and how often to use it. It's one thing, if for a den, you have freed up a place on the table and, with the end of Christmas days, you will remove everything until the next year. And quite another, if you are going to make a corner in the house, where, according to the time of the year, the scenery will change. In the second case, it is necessary to approach the creation of the den, more thoroughly, you can make it even two-tiered. But in any case, it is not the location of this structure itself, but its filling that is important, and therefore we make a Christmas nativity scene, starting with the design of the background.
How to make a Christmas dessert with your own hands?
Determining the place, we make the background. Since the den is a pen for cattle (a cave), where Christ was born, then the colors should be chosen accordingly. For example, for a floor we use a cloth of gray or brown color, and we decorate the interior of the Christmas nativity with festive red. The center of the composition should be a baby in a manger, and therefore we have them in the middle. On the right, we place the figure of Mary, to the left of Joseph, and around the nursery there should be placed animal figurines - for example, bull, donkey, sheep. And of course, we do not forget about the star of the Magi. We make it from cardboard and paint it with gold paint or glue gold foil. If the star is not pendant, but glued to the wall of the den, then it can only be made of foil. We make a nursery for a baby from a small box and a piece of cotton wool placed inside. Also in the foreground there should be shepherds, and the rest of the characters are placed according to the story we want to tell. As soon as the background is decorated, we start to make figures. It is advisable to observe the color scheme, so for the garment of Mary, traditionally use red and blue colors, and Joseph is dressed in a brown outfit. Puppets can be douched from salted dough, color and dress up, or you can sew. If you are going to sew dolls, then for one doll you will need a bodily fabric (30x30 cm), cotton wool, drape or other dense fabric (15x40 cm), yarn (we will make hair from it), scraps, scissors and threads.
- A piece of drape is twisted into a roll and fixed, this will be the basis, and therefore it must be stable.
- In the middle of the square of the body skin color we put a small lump of cotton wool and tie it with a string. Attention, folds all need to be straightened, so that the face turned out smooth.
- Draw or embroider a face, make hair out of yarn.
- We put our head on the base and sew it around the neck.
- In the dangling ends of the body tissue sew 2 pieces of cotton wool - get hands.
- Now the doll can be dressed up. If you want to make it more thick, then tighten the sleeves and shirt with cotton, if not - then we use the padding only to give the desired shape.
- We dress dolls in clothes, sewn from color patches. For female figures it is very easy to make a sundress by wrapping a piece of cloth around the torso and fastening it with straps.
Under the sarafan puts on a shirt of gray or white fabric. Men's characters are traditionally dressed in shirts, pants and capes, gray or brown. The capes of the kings are made of shreds of red shades. By the way, the garb of kings can be trimmed with gold thread or foil.
It is clear that when you make a Christmas nativity yourself, you want to make everything as colorful and elegant as possible, but it's not too much to get involved. After all, Christmas is a holiday in which we forget about material goods for a short while and try to consider in the surrounding people not their social position, but what is hidden behind all this tinsel.
