Pasta with tomatoes and basil is one of the classic dishes embodying Italian cuisine. The simplicity of this dish makes it available outside of the homeland, because no strange ingredients for cooking you will not need.
Pasta with tomatoes and basil
Despite the tradition of the dish itself, we will cook it not in the traditional way, using just one dish.
Ingredients:
- packing of fresh pasta;
- vegetable broth - 2 items;
- water 210 ml;
- handful of fresh basil;
- cherry tomatoes - 135 g;
- garlic - 3 teeth;
- onion - 45 g.
Preparation
Place the paste in the chosen dishes, put to it halves of cherry tomatoes, sliced garlic, onion rings and basil leaves. Pour the contents of the dishes with a mixture of vegetable broth and water, season well and cook for 7-10 minutes or until the liquid is completely absorbed.
Pasta with cherry tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinegar
Ingredients:
- basil leaves - 45 g;
- pine nuts - 30 g;
- cashews - 30 g;
- garlic - 2 teeth;
- salt - 1 teaspoon;
- juice ½ lemon;
- olive oil - 80 ml;
- paste - 250 g;
- cherry tomatoes - 145 g;
- olives - 30 g;
- Balsamic vinegar - 15 ml.
Preparation
Start by making a pesto sauce. Whisk the first 7 ingredients together until a paste is formed. After pouring a little oil into a heated frying pan, fry whole tomatoes of cherry and olives for 4-5 minutes.
Boil the pasta, mix it with tomatoes, olives and pesto sauce, sprinkle everything with balsamic vinegar. If you want, add the dish with grated cheese.
A recipe for pasta with tomatoes and basil
Bolognese sauce is one of the most popular classic sauces for pasta. Our version of this classic will take no more than 20 minutes of your time, so this dish will be an ideal dinner in a hurry.
Ingredients:
- olive oil - 15 ml;
- onion - 85 g;
- minced turkey - 540 g;
- tomatoes in its own juice - 1.1 kg g;
- a mixture of Italian herbs - 1 teaspoon;
- garlic - 3 teeth;
- handful of fresh basil;
- packing spaghetti.
Preparation
Maintain onions with warmed oil along with turkey stuffing. When the meat grabs, add herbs and salt with pepper, squeeze the garlic teeth through the press. Fill the meat with tomatoes in your own juice and leave the sauce for tomato and basil paste to stew for 12 minutes. In the meantime, boil the pasta. Finished sauce complement the sliced fresh basil and serve with spaghetti.
