Postcards for Easter with your own hands

How to congratulate friends and acquaintances on Easter, if not a postcard? Of course, the easiest way is to buy Easter cards at the store and not to suffer from making these Easter gifts with your own hands. But still, many believe that Easter gifts, including postcards, should be made only with their own hands, a heartfelt and impersonal piece of cardboard is indispensable here.

So, you have decided that you will have handmade cards for Easter, which you will make with your own hands. But then, you probably wonder how you can make a card for Easter, so it does not seem like the work of a preschooler?

Simple postcards with Easter

The easiest way to find a picture on the Easter theme and print it on a color printer, well, or on black and white, and then paint. But this is for absolutely lazy. A little harder, but it will be much more interesting, with glue, scissors, colored cardboard and paper, to make by your own hand cards for Easter in the form of Easter eggs. Still need different small details for decoration, such as rhinestones or (and) a ribbon in the tone of the postcard.

  1. We fold a sheet of colored cardboard in half.
  2. We draw on it the shape of the egg.
  3. Cut the egg along the contour, without cutting the bend.
  4. We cut decorative details from colored paper, with which we will decorate our postcard. Small flowers, grass and so on.
  5. We collect a postcard, that is, on the front part of it we glue what was cut from the colored paper. Add, if necessary, rhinestones, sequins, glue and tie a ribbon. We let the glue dry. We sign the card and give it to the addressee.

Volumetric Easter cards

If you decide to make voluminous Easter cards, the quilling technique will help you. Yes it's not fast and this kind of work is pretty painstaking, but the result is worth it. Although, no one forces you to take on something super complicated, for starters you can try to make a simple card - a hare with an Easter egg, to which you can draw a child. You will need colored cardboard, quilling color paper, glue, scissors and a toothpick (or spoke) on which you will twist the paper.

  1. Fold the cardboard in half. If you need a simple pencil (not strongly pressing), make a layout where the parts of the composition will be.
  2. The main elements, from which all the details will be made, are "rings", "droplets" and "leaves". Making them is very simple. Cut off one side of the sharp tip of the toothpick and just split it. In the hole, insert the tip of the paper and wind it on the toothpick. The ends of the paper strip are fixed with glue, the product is removed. We will need more free "droplets", so first the spiral should be slightly squashed, glued to the ends and shaped, squeezed with one hand fingers (to make a "leaf" squeeze the workpiece will need to be on both sides). First we make one "drop" and two "leaflets" - head and ears. We glue them on cardboard, glue their eyes on the head - two black circles or stickers for toys and a spout.
  3. We make a big "droplet" for the trunk, we glue it also on the postcard.
  4. We twist the "ring" for the tail and also glue it.
  5. From paper of other colors do "droplets" of which then we will get grass and flowers. To make hats from mushrooms, red "leaves" need to be slightly bent, giving them the shape of an arch.
  6. In the same way, you can make a second rabbit, and from the pieces of cloth or yarn recreate the "floor".
  7. If all the twists are given simply, then you can write in letters from the paper "With Easter" or simply "HB". Also it can be on the side, if there is an empty space left, stick a branch of willow. We make it from a strip of brown paper, which we immediately glue on the postcard. And fluffy buds are made from several tightly twisted "rings". They are glued in staggered order to a twig.

Everything, the postcard is ready, it only remains to sign it.
