Cleansing the skin

Cleansing the skin is the first and one of the most important stages of caring for it. It helps to get rid of dirt, dust particles, dead cells and excess skin fat. Of course, the first means for this, which is indispensable, is water, but it is usually not enough alone. And then the proceeds come in a variety of gels, lotions, tonics and other products, the range of which in the modern world is very wide.

Proper skin cleansing

In order to avoid problems and not to dry the skin, when cleaning it, you need:

  1. Choose the means for the face and body, taking into account the type of skin.
  2. If possible, do not use too hot water.
  3. Do not use funds for deep cleansing of the skin in the presence of irritations and rashes.

Too frequent washing (more often than 1-2 times a day) and staying in a bath or shower for more than 20 minutes can also lead to dry skin.

Cleansing the face skin

Skin face is most exposed to the environment and yet it is thin and sensitive, so a thorough approach is required to clean it. It can be divided into everyday and deep.

Daily cleansing of the face skin - washing with special products twice a day. If in the morning most simply wash with a gel for washing , then in the evening, skin cleansing is carried out more carefully. To start with a lotion or a special lotion, make-up is removed, then the face is washed with a gel or foam, and then rubbed with a lotion or tonic to remove any debris.

Deep cleansing of the skin of the face is carried out as necessary and in several stages:

  1. Primary cleansing of the skin with a gel, foam or other means for washing.
  2. Face dissolving, to expand the pores. For this, steam baths are often used, often with an extract of herbs, or warm compresses.
  3. Direct deep cleansing of the skin.
  4. Skin treatment with tonic and applying a moisturizer.

For deep cleaning at home, most often use:

  1. Scrubs and peelings. They help exfoliate the dead cells of the epidermis. Apply them 2-3 times a week, and with thin and sensitive skin - no more than 1 time per week, choosing the most sparing. If there is a vascular network on the face (couperose), it is better to refuse the use of these funds.
  2. Masks-films (alginate masks). Such masks after application on the face freeze and then removed entirely. Promotes removal of black dots and deep cleansing of pores.
  3. Mechanical face cleaning. It is the removal of black dots manually. It is carried out immediately after steaming and very carefully. After it, you need to apply a special soothing and moisturizing mask.

Cleansing the skin of the body

  1. Shower. Perhaps the most common aqueous procedure for removing sweat from the skin and various contaminants. For normal to oily skin, it is best to use a shower gel. For dry and sensitive - a special soap with moisturizing ingredients or a children's shower gel.
  2. Bath. To take a bath is not recommended to use shower products, since they are designed for short-term impact: applied and washed away. When taking a bath in it add a special salt, oil or foam for the bath, herbal decoctions.
  3. Scrubs and peelings. Apply 1-2 times a week, depending on skin type, during shower. The product is applied to the moist skin with massage movements, then washed off.

After washing, especially with the use of peeling or scrub, it is necessary to use a cream or other moisturizer. For dry and normal skin, a special milk or cream is best, for a fat one - milk or lotion.
