Cosmetic oils for face

Cosmetic oils are very popular means for skin care. Among the cosmetic oils, the best and most commonly used for the face are olive oil, jojoba oil (which is in fact vegetable wax), almond oil, apricot oil, coconut oil and avocado oil. Of the essential oils for cosmetic purposes, oils with anti-inflammatory properties, such as tea tree, rose, lemon, mint, ylang-ylang , fir, cedar, are most often used for facial skin care.

Cosmetic olive oil for the face

In olive oil contains a large number of vitamins, monounsaturated fats, phospholipids and phosphatides. This oil is not oxidized on the skin, softens the skin and helps to retain moisture, while not clogging the pores and not disturbing the normal metabolism in the dermis and epidermis. It has disinfecting and wound-healing properties, therefore in its pure form it is well suited for the care of dry, irritated and inflamed skin.

Cosmetic almond oil for the face

Sweet almond oil is light and nutritious, with a high content of oleic acid and vitamin E, which is a natural antioxidant. It has a softening, rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory effect on the skin, but in its pure form it can be comedogenic (provoke clogging of pores and appearance of black dots). The most effective is considered when adding to cosmetic products in a concentration of 10-12%.

Cosmetic jojoba oil for the face

Jojoba oil is essentially a liquid vegetable wax with a high content of amino acids, proteins that are close in composition to collagen, unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. The oil is thick enough, but has a high penetrating ability and is rapidly absorbed. It has antioxidant, rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties. Especially effective is the use of this oil for problem and oily skin. It is best to use jojoba oil in various creams and masks in a concentration not exceeding 10%.

Cosmetic oil of avocado for the face

Avocado oil contains a large amount of vitamins (A, B1, B2, D, E, K, PP), lecithin, unsaponifiable fatty acids, chlorophyll (due to which the oil has a characteristic green color), squalene, phosphoric acid salts, and various minerals and trace elements. Avocado oil can be used to care for any type of skin. It especially affects the dry, fading or damaged skin. In its pure form, it is not desirable to apply it to the skin, or it can be used once for very dry and damaged skin. It is most effective in a mixture with other cosmetic oils in a concentration of up to 10%.
