Everyone knows that night is not a time for children's walks. Since recently, this tacitly rule has acquired legal force, since starting in 2012 in Russia, and since 2013 in Ukraine, legislative acts on the curfew for children and adolescents began to operate. Despite some differences, the main essence of the laws of both the Russian Federation and Ukraine alone - children and adolescents is forbidden to be in public places with the onset of night time without adults: parents or legal representatives.

In Russia, in accordance with the curfew law, children under the age of seven can not be alone on the street at any time of the day. Children aged from 7 to 18 years should not be accompanied by adults in public places: parks, squares, restaurants, cafes, etc. at night time. How long does the curfew last? In winter, its effect extends from 22 to 6 hours, and in the summer - from 23 to 6 hours. In addition, regional authorities have the right to shift curfews in accordance with climatic conditions. In the event that a curfew violator is discovered, law enforcers must establish his identity, home address and information about his parents. If the place where the parents or guardians of the child are found can not be established, they send him to a specialized institution. An administrative protocol is drawn up against the parents of the offending child and a fine for violation of the curfew in the amount of 300-1000 rubles is imposed.
