Curtains in the room

Any of the rooms where there is a window is easily filled with a special atmosphere of comfort, if its windows are decorated with properly selected curtains.

What curtains to choose in the room?

First of all, you should take into account the functional purpose of the room. For example, curtains in a children's room for a girl, in addition to classic white, can be chosen in a delicate pink-cream color scheme (single-colored or with a thematic pattern that corresponds to the child's age).

Curtains in the children's room for the boy should also be light (monotonous, with a pattern, for example, on the sea theme, in the form of machines or cartoon heroes) and good air flow. But in both cases it is better to choose curtains from non-marble fabrics (organza).

In the teenager's room, you can choose curtains made of monophonic organza, with a pattern (for example, in a cage), with metallized threads. If a window sill is used as a workplace in a teenager's room, then short curtains are undoubtedly the best option.

The same curtains are suitable for small rooms where every free centimeter is used (for example, a window sill as a seat). In addition, small rooms look better curtains of a simple cut - they do not "eat" space.

No doubt, one should take into account the illumination of this or that room. Therefore, curtains in the dark room are chosen white or very light pastel shades without large drawings, thick draperies and very hanging lambrequins.

In the bright room, on the other hand, you can choose curtains of more saturated shades, in harmony with the general color scheme of the room, densely draped and decorated. The white room will be harmoniously blended with white curtains (the color accent should be made on other interior details), and more saturated colors, acting as a color spot.

In the room with a balcony suitable curtains, not limiting the easy access to the balcony door. In this regard, thread drapes are very practical. In addition, such curtains, if necessary, can easily and effectively zoning the room.
