What types of violations are usually made?
Depending on which process is disrupted (formation, accumulation or excretion of urine), the following types of violations, such as dysuria, are distinguished in medicine:
- pollakiuria - increased frequency of urination (more than 6 times in 24 hours);
- strangury - difficulty urinating, accompanied by pain, feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder;
- urinary incontinence is involuntary, i.e. uncontrollable urinary excretion. In this case, the interval from the appearance of urge to the very separation of urine is reduced and is less than 10 seconds;
- incontinence - involuntary discharge to the outside of the formed urine with complete absence of urge to urinate;
- Ishuria - retention of urination (can be mechanical and neurogenic).
What are the symptoms of dysuria in women?
As a rule, such a violation is characterized by a combination of manifestations. That's why you can often find such a definition as "dysuria syndrome" - it's the same thing.
Among the main symptoms of the violation should be named:
- increased urination;
- involuntary discharge of urine;
painful urination process; - difficulty or total absence of acts of urination.
The additional signs of dysuria, which are not always present, are:
- the appearance of itching, burning in the groin;
- increased body temperature;
- pain in the lower third of the abdomen;
- the appearance of pathological discharge from the genital organs (with infection);
- change in color, consistency, clarity of urine.
