Celebrations continue for a week and end with the Lantern Festival . On this day, all the houses and streets are decorated with colorful motley lanterns and eat rice cakes with sweet stuffing. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar.

The most interesting holidays in China

Among the most interesting national holidays of China, one should pay tribute to the International Festival of Kites (April 16). Annually people come to the festival from more than 60 countries of the world and on a scale it can be compared even with the Olympic Games.
