How to make a bird out of paper?

Children are very fond of making paper and paper crafts from animals and birds, as they can later be played with them. But for each age group it is necessary to select products with different levels of complexity.

Master-class on making a bird's craft from colored paper

It will take:

• colored paper;
• colored cardboard with a pattern;
• scissors;
• glue;
• pattern of the trunk of a bird.

1. Cut out the cardboard template 2 details. Only the second one should be traced by turning the template face down.
2. We glue both parts not with colored sides.
3. From colored paper we cut out 2 rectangles with dimensions of 7.5cm * 10cm (tail) and 10cm * 12.5cm (wings). Fold both with a fan, making a bend after 1 cm. In the middle we glue with glue, so that they do not fall apart.

How to make a woven bird from paper - a master class

It will take:

• colored paper;
• scissors.

1. Cut out 2 pieces of paper. The wing size is 2.5cm * 4cm, and the length of the cut strips is about 20cm.
2. We put the part with the colored side in itself. The upper band is lowered downward at 45 °, first passing alternately: then from below, then from above the other bands.
3. We take the second strip, bend downwards under 45 ° and also we carry out alternating: from below and from above. We do the same with the second wing, only putting it with the white side to ourselves.
4. Fold both wings, crossed as shown in the photo.
5. We interweave free strips between each other to make a square.
6. For the convenience of further work, let us denote the letters A, B, C, D of the strip by which we will work.
7. We begin to perform the belly of the bird, for this we need, intertwining among themselves, from 4 bands, to make a square. Take A and B and drop them down (under 90 °), parallel to C and D.
8. We lift the band C upwards by 90 ° and place it over the band B, and D lift and pass over C, and then under A.

It will take:

• newspaper;
• duct tape;
• paper towel;
• thin cardboard;
• adhesive PVA, diluted with water in a proportion of 1: 1;
• scissors;
• felt-tip pens, brushes and paints (tempera or acrylic);
• wire;
• nippers, hand drill.

1. We crumble a quarter of the newspaper sheet to get a shape that looks like a pear. Then correct it with a paper tape.
2. We cut paper towels into strips with a width of 1.5 cm, soak them in a glutinous solution and wrap our blank. Then let it dry for 12 hours.
3. From the cardboard we cut out the details of the tail and wings (2 pieces). And then they also pasted them in white strips, in a glutinous solution.
4. We apply small details (wings and tail) to the trunk and attach them, wrapping strips with glue. Let the workpiece dry out.
5. Take 2 pieces of wire and make them legs. First, we form 4 fingers, and then, twisting both ends around each other, the very leg, we cut off the excess with cutting pliers.
6. The vertical part of the leg is wrapped in a thick thread.
7. After the workpiece has dried out well, cover it first with all the base paint (gray), and then paint the remaining parts.
8. We make a manual drill on the belly of 2 holes, pour in them undiluted glue, insert the legs and make the necessary slope. Let's dry out.
9. To make the article shiny you can cover it with acrylic gel.
