To make a heart pothold, we need:
- green cloth;
- colored striped fabric;
- shreds of a monophonic fabric of red, yellow and pink colors;
- sintepon;
- paper;
- thread;
- scissors;
- yellow tape bindweed.
Operating procedure:
- The pattern of potholders consists of two parts - the details of the hearth and the tulip for applique. Draw these pieces of tack on paper and cut them out.
- Using a paper pattern, cut out the front part of the tack from the green fabric.
- The same item will be cut from the striped fabric.
- And one more detail-a heart we will cut out from a sintepon.
- From red, yellow and pink fabric we will cut three tulips.
- We sweep the tulips to the green part of the tack.
- We sew the tulips with a zigzag seam, picking up the threads under the color of the tulips. We will pull out the notation.
- We add the striped part of the stitch to the part from the sintepon and make a few vertical lines.
- This part is folded with a green piece of potholders, aligned with their faces. Sew the details along the edge, leaving a hole on the side so that the tack can be turned out.
- Turn out the heart-potholder.
- We sew the hole on the pothold by hand.
- At the edge of the tack, we sew a yellow string of bindweed. In the upper part of the tack we make a loop from the braid.
