However, not only the brand of watches, the dial design, but also the detail that we negligently miss out of sight - the strap on the watch is important. There are cases when a not very successful strap spoiled the impression of an absolutely stunning model, and vice versa. It is the strap that largely determines the style of the whole model: fashionable, classic, sporty, elegant.

In the master class we will offer you the option of how to make a stylish watch strap with your own hands from woven ropes. Such a strap will be a great gift to your beloved man, and if you make it from the brighter threads, it will transform your own watch.

How to make a watch strap?

For work, we need about 15 meters of braided rope, scissors, lighter, tape measure, latch and the clock itself. The actual amount of braided rope that will serve as material for making the bracelet depends on your wrist size.

So, let's get down to work:

1. We measure about 20 cm from the end of the braided rope, but we do not cut it off, because we need to weave a bracelet with the whole rope, which is impossible to calculate accurately the rope consumption. We make a loop on the first latch to start work.

2. We put on the rope a watch and determine the length of the bracelet based on the size of the wrist. Here it is necessary to measure as accurately as possible, since the bracelet will be sufficiently dense and it will most likely not be able to drag, although by itself it depends on the rope weaving. It is reasonable to make a stock in the length of the bracelet by 1 cm. After measuring the desired length, put on the second latch and perform the same loop. We let out the ends from under the opposite latch.

3. Begin to weave bracelet. From the ends of the rope we make from the bottom the first loop on the front side. The ends again go to the wrong side.

4. Cross the ends from the wrong side, and make a noose by grabbing an extreme rope, grabbing it with the opposite end. The second end remains at the very top of the bracelet.

5. We pass the thread under the bottom and grab the edge from the other side.

6. Next, let's pass the thread down the bottom, and from underneath the bottom we release the loop through two medium ropes.

7. We continue to weave until we reach the dial. We try to weave the bracelet as tightly as possible, in which case it will have a tough, beautiful shape.

8. Having reached the place where the dial will be located, tightly tighten the finished part of the bracelet and let the rope pass under it, we bring it to the second part of the bracelet.

9. We continue to weave bracelet in the same way on the other side.

10. After finishing braiding the bracelet, cut the rope, leaving the tail with a small margin, and bring it between the tightly tightened loops of the braided bracelet on the wrong side.

11. We pass to the completion of work. The igniter cauterizes the ends of the ropes so that they do not disintegrate, and we fill them under the middle loops of the already braided bracelet from the wrong side.

12. When there is a tiny tail, we hide it between the loops.
