At the end of August 2016, the largest theme park in Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure, opened. It quickly gained popularity among both UAE residents and tourists from all over the world. Given the desert hot climate of the country, the creators of the park Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group built it in a covered building 10 stories high and equipped with a powerful air conditioning system. Therefore, visitors can comfortably spend a whole day in the park, regardless of the weather on the street.
Park structure
The theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai is divided into 4 zones of interest:
- zone of superheroes Marvel for comic book lovers;
- a children's zone dedicated to cartoons and channel transmissions of Cardon Networks;
- a shopping boulevard with a small number of attractions Boulevard IMG;
- The park of dinosaurs is the largest zone.
Marvel Zone
The Marvel Zone is dedicated to movies and cartoons with favorite characters such as Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, Avengers Team, Hulk, etc. Here everything is devoted to the adventures of superheroes. 2 cinemas in the 5D mode with a sense of complete presence tell the story of the Hulk and the Avengers. The most interesting part of the zone, of course, are the attractions. Here you will find a merry-go-round with Spiderman 400 meters high among skyscrapers, a race on avenger planes and a full of dangers for teenagers and adults - the Torah Hammer, where the 140 cm growth limit is valid.
Cardboard Network
Children who have not yet reached the roller coaster will be interested in the zone with their favorite cartoons and programs. You can begin to get acquainted with the Cardboard Network by skating on a monorail road made in the form of the familiar little dog Jake from the animated television series "Time of Adventures".
Connoisseurs of the channel will find attractions devoted to Gambol's experiments in Elmore, a spectacular battle between Ben and Rook from Ben 10, although only those who have already reached 130 cm will be able to participate in it. And specially for girls there is a carousel based on the series The Powerpuff Girls .
Boulevard IMG
In contrast to the theme areas of the Worlds of Adventure theme park, the IMG boulevard offers a more relaxed entertainment. Here along the beautiful boulevard, planted with palm trees, there are recreation areas, cafes, shops. But in such a quiet place visitors are waiting for a surprise, ready to tickle your nerves. One of the buildings of the boulevard is the Hotel of Ghosts, an attraction for teenagers over 15 years old. The improved room of fear is a maze in which you have to save yourself not only from ghosts, but also zombies, mummies, vampires and other evil spirits, waiting for fans of horror films for every new turn.
Valley of the Dinosaurs
The Lost Valley, which translates as Lost Valley, was developed specifically for IMG Worlds of Adventure. It is located on a vast territory of 65 thousand square meters. m, along which 70 mechanical dinosaurs walk.
The most interesting attraction of the park is the roller coaster Velociraptops, which will accelerate you to 100 km per hour in just 2.5 s, take it out of the room into the desert, turn it upside down several times and make a dead loop. All the entertainment lasts no more than a minute, but few of the brave men who decide to ride it will be able to forget this adventure. Velociraptops today is the biggest hill in the world.
How to get to the amusement park?
IMG Worlds of Adventure is located away from residential areas on the highway 311, you can approach it by taxi from any part of the city. From the center the road will take no more than half an hour. Taxis in Dubai are inexpensive, and it is very convenient to use.
