Traditional Belarusian draniki - a recipe is very minimalistic, as in its composition, except for the potato, is, perhaps, salt. But the home cooks complemented this dish in their own way, so in the formulation of draniki eggs, flour, greens and even sausage were added. Is it intriguing?
Potato pancakes with sausage
Ingredients:
- Potato tubers - 5 pcs .;
- egg - 1 piece;
- sausage - 50 g;

- clove of garlic.
Preparation
Prepared, that is, peeled and washed potato tubers should be grated. To potatoes did not darken, it can be rubbed together with onions, but it is much easier to rub the tubers in a saucepan with water, which then should be drained. Recipe for potato pancakes with sausage
Ingredients:
- Servelat - 100 g;
- potato tubers - 4-5 pieces;
- egg - 1 piece;
- flour - 45 g.
Preparation
Servelat we cut in circles. Potato tubers are peeled and finely chopped, after which we squeeze the potato mass through a double layer of gauze. Salt with pepper to taste, as well as flour and eggs - the following ingredients that will complement our dough.
On the heated frying pan spread a good tablespoon of the base for the pancakes, put a sausage on top and lightly squeeze it into the mixture. Distribute another spoonful of potatoes from above and fry.
Potato pancakes with sausage and cheese
A good supplement to the traditional recipe can also be cheese, in our case a bit more refined - Bree.
Ingredients:
- sage - 2-3 leaves;
- potatoes - 400 g;
- lemon - 1 piece;
- sausage - 115 g;
- cheese brie - 120 g;
- flour - 3 tbsp. spoons.
Preparation
The washed tubers are cleaned and rubed rather large. Prisalivayem potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture. Sausage cut into small slices and add to the potatoes together with flour, lemon zest and chopped sage. The highlight of the dish will be brie cheese, which should also be finely chopped and mixed with potato. When the mixture for the pancakes is ready, you can immediately begin to roast them. Draniki from potatoes with sausage
This recipe for pancakes is even more unusual, because as a basis we will use not raw but pre-lightly boiled potatoes, thanks to which our vegetable patties will have a creamy texture.
Ingredients:
- potato tubers - 1 kg;
- sausage - 500 g;
- champignons - 150 g;
- arugula - 80 g;
- grated cheese - 1 1/4 of the item;
- eggs - 3 pieces;
- fresh bread crumb - 1 item;
- butter - 40 g.
Preparation

Freeze the cutlets for half an hour so that they keep the shape better during roasting. Fry the draniki as usual. You can serve the ready dish with sour cream or ketchup , but an unusual recipe requires unusual additions, because you can change the usual sauces to exotic vegetable chutney, for example.
