The hormone Jess is a micro-dosed single-phase contraceptive of the new generation. The microscopic content of hormones in it allows to achieve the desired result (contraceptive, therapeutic) with simultaneous minimal manifestations of side effects.

The hormonal contraceptive Jess is released in the form of tablets, 1 blister contains 28 tablets: 24 of them are light pink in color - active, 4 in white - inactive (placebo).

Differences in the hormonal tablets Jess and Jes Plus

Hormonal tablets Jess Plus is an analogue of its predecessor, Jess, but in addition to ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone, the active ingredient also contains calcium levometholate (folate). This substance provides the woman's body with folic acid and thus (if after the end of the use of the drug an unexpected pregnancy occurs) reduces the risk of a fetal neural tube defect.
