Kitchen Modules

It often happens that the kitchen in the apartment has non-standard dimensions. And this means that it is not possible to put an ordinary kitchen furniture set. Therefore, manufacturers of furniture sets moved to work on a modular basis. It consists in the fact that individual pieces of furniture are manufactured, from which the buyer can individually choose those items that are suitable for his kitchen.

The most popular today are the lower, corner and hinged kitchen modules. Each hostess wants her kitchen to look cozy and laconic, comfortable and functional. What modules should I choose for the kitchen? The answer to this question is very individual.

Before you go to the store, you need to determine what the size of your kitchen, how many products you are going to store, how much you need to have kitchen utensils, and what should be the purchase budget. It should be remembered that both oversaturation of furniture, as well as its lack in the premises are undesirable. A spacious half-empty kitchen or a cramped, crowded cupboard does not look comfortable and cozy.

All pieces of furniture should harmoniously fit into the interior of the kitchen and properly distributed in it.

Bottom kitchen modules

A floor cabinet or, as it is also called, a pedestal, base or lower cabinet is an indispensable element of every kitchen. It can have both technical legs and decorative ones, one shelf or several. The standard cabinet is designed to store food. Often in this cabinet are stored various heavy and bulky kitchen utensils. In addition, in the lower module can be built in kitchen appliances: hob, oven, washing machine and dishwasher and others. The depth of such a module is usually about 70 cm.

Another lower module is a cabinet with drawers. Such a module can have two options. In the first, all the boxes are the same size, and in the second, the upper boxes are small for storing various trifles, and below is a large box in which tall and large objects can be placed. There are also combined floor cupboards with drawers on top, and in the lower part - shelves behind folding or swinging doors.

In a spacious kitchen, you can put a high floor module into which a refrigerator is built, or such a column-column is equipped with a multitude of shelves and drawers to store the necessary kitchen utensils or products.

Corner kitchen module

You can not do without a corner cabinet in the kitchen. It can be built in a sink. Then the cabinet under it inside must be hollow, so that the pipes of the water supply and sewage can be placed there. There can also be a trash can.

Often, the corner cabinet is equipped with a pull-out carousel, which is attached to the door from the inside. When you open the cabinet after the door, shelves with pans and other necessary kitchen items placed on them also slide out. This corner cabinet is very convenient and functional, because it maximizes the corner part of the kitchen.

Mounted kitchen modules

Suspended or pendant modules are lockers that need to be mounted on a wall. Most often they are small in size and light in weight. In such a locker you can store dishes. In the upper modules, the doors are often made glazed. Doors for blind lockers can be folding or even sliding. Hanging cupboard for drying dishes is best placed above the sink. Today, open kitchen shelves are very fashionable, performing both functional and decorative functions in the interior of the kitchen.
