Wedding ceremony

Weddings were born in the IV century AD. Then it was the wedding ceremony that made the marriage legal, that is, instead of the registry office, the marriage was registered in the church. Later, as we know, things have changed, and everything has become the other way round: only the registry office can legalize the marriage, and the wedding in the church is only a tribute to the tradition. But in spite of the fact that the church wedding is now not necessary, the influx of thirsting to marry does not decrease.

Wedding in different denominations

Wedding ceremony is equally important for representatives of different cultures and religions. For example, among the Jews, marriage will be legal (in terms of religion) only if it is concluded between representatives of one faith - Judaism. How is the wedding ceremony for the Jews - first of all, it should be noted that the celebration lasts for seven days.

On Saturday, before the wedding, the groom should come to the synagogue and receive the blessing of the Torah. Then begins the ceremony, when the young put on each other's rings on their fingers. The rabbi reads seven blessings, which then need to be repeated after a meal during the week. This week is festive.

Muslims have marriage as a contract between the families of the bride and groom. A bridegroom can marry a girl of another faith, but a Muslim bride can not marry a groom not a Muslim. For them, the essence of the wedding ceremony is that after the birth of children, they necessarily take the faith of their father (therefore, he must necessarily be a Muslim). If children adopt a different faith, their father will not be considered a Muslim.

In Islam, divorce and polygamy are permitted.

Christian wedding

For Christians, the wedding ceremony is of great importance, because this is one of the most important church ordinances in their life. The essence of the ritual is that a husband receives a wife from the Church itself, so that nothing can be divided between them and no one but God.

The wedding consists of engagement, wedding, wreath-making and moleben. Earlier, the betrothal and the wedding were held separately, but in the modern world, the church seems to have made concessions.

The bride must be in a dress of light colors (white, beige, pink), and the groom in a dark suit. If the dress is cut, the bride must wear a cloak, if the sleeveless dress is long gloves, and the head should be covered with a veil or hat.

The presence of witnesses is mandatory on the wedding ceremony. Their task - to keep the crowns over the heads of newlyweds during the singing of the prayer service.

In the first part of the rite, the priest joins the hands of the young and blesses their union three times. Then the bride and groom are given lighted candles, which should burn until the end of the marriage. These couple candles will be kept at home, as a mascot.

The priest introduces a couple inside the temple, where prayers are read for the gift of eternal love, the blessing of God, sending them children, etc. Then the priest pronounces the phrases: "The servant of God is betrothed to the servant of God," three times creating the sign of the cross first over the head of the groom, then the bride and putting them on the fingers of the ring. Young must change their rings three times as a sign that from now on they are inseparable.

It was a betrothal. Then begins the wedding with questions whether the groom and the bride agree to marry, and also whether there are none to whom one of the couple has already promised marriage bonds.

Then begins the moleben, the drink of the lit wine from the bowl, and the kissing of the icons - the Savior and the Mother of God.

Now they are husband and wife before God.

Black wedding

A black wedding is a ritual in black magic, where the powers of the spell extend not only to the one who is bewitched, but also to the sorcerer himself. This, in fact, the wedding, however, without the consent of the second half.

Such a wedding has very great power, marriage ties are fixed in Hell, and the power of the action of witchcraft will last for about 10 years. We emphasize: the one who conducts this rite and himself becomes dependent on his pair, so there is no way back.

The ceremony is held in the cemetery with the biological material of the partner (hair, nails, skin, blood).
