How to make a ladybird costume?

• organza of red color;
• silk narrow ribbons for strapless;

• thick aluminum wire for wings;
• flaps of thin red silk for flowers;
• thin wire for stems of flowers;
• black silk cord for the middle of the flower;
• accessories for sewing;
• sewing machine.

We sew a ladybird costume

1. For a lush skirt, similar to a pack, from a thin organza we cut the stripes 5 to 7 cm in length. It is better to use scissors with the effect of processing, so that the edges of the parts do not fall off afterwards.
2. We sew the strips in the upper part and with the help of a pin we string rectangular details onto an elastic band, the size of which is equal to the waist circumference with the addition of 2 cm to the hem. The skirt should turn out with a magnificent assembly, like a ballerina pack.
3. To make a pattern for the ladybird costume, you need to take measurements: the chest girth and length from the clavicles to the waist, to construct on their base a rectangle with a width equal to the girth of the chest, and the length corresponding to the measure. We sweep the side part, we spread it on the sewing machine, we take it to the skirt.
4. We measure and cut the ribbons for the shoulder straps on the shoulders, gently sew them on the back and chest of the bodice.
5. We tie the bodice to the waistband of the skirt so that the dress will turn out. We emphasize the place of connection by a cut-off intertwined girdle.
6. We cut out from the same fabric as the top, two decorative details on straps. We attach the ribbons to each strap. Easy dress is ready!
7. For the wings we fold the frame from the wire, tighten them with a scarlet organza, gently sewing it to the frame. Characteristic spots on the wings of an insect can be cut out of paper and glued. But it is much more convenient to draw dark circles with acrylic paint with a brush directly on the fabric.
8. Flowers for ladybug can be purchased at the store. But, if the mother can make time for making a flower bouquet, she will make a smart bouquet with her own hands from silk flaps, a thin wire and a black cord that covers the place where the stem-wire is attached to the flower.
9. One flower should be left to decorate the garter ribbon on the hair.

• wire on the antennae;
• pieces of black cloth;
• 2 foam balloons;
