Types of LED panels and use cases

LED ceiling panels are luminaires that differ in the way they are mounted: they are built-in and overhead.

Built-in panels are mounted in suspended ceilings made of plasterboard, plastic or in stretch ceilings, this is facilitated by the fact that they are not able to heat up.

Overhead panels are used in cases where it is not possible to make holes in the ceiling, their installation consists in the fact that the iron bar is first screwed on, and the luminaire is fixed on it.

It is very convenient to use LED panels where you need to further illuminate a section or make an accent, highlighting an interior object. Also unique is that they can be used in rooms where it is often wet, for example, in a bathroom, or directly in water, for example, in a swimming pool. This is possible due to the fact that they lack spirals or inert gas, they shine crystals, and they have a high degree of protection.

LED ceiling panels can have a different form of design: they are round, square and rectangular. Panels of round shape most easily fit into any style of the room and are best combined with the classic and with ultramodern models of chandeliers and other lighting fixtures.

One of the drawbacks of this kind of luminaires is their high price, even a very small capacity model is quite expensive. Also, LED ceiling panels require a stable, uninterrupted power source, for this they should be equipped with external stabilizers.
