The Marine Park of Malta (Mediterraneo Marine Park) is a great place for a family holiday. It is guaranteed to enjoy both children and adults, because in the park visitors are given the opportunity to communicate with various marine life and attend to interesting performances. Here you can see how the process of animal training is going, and also swim with the Black Sea dolphins in a specially designated pool.
In addition to the inhabitants of the seas, in the Marine Park of Malta live parrots, iguanas and other exotic fauna.
Administration of the Marine Park of Malta developed special interactive programs for visitors. One of them will help you to plunge into the life of dolphins, the other - to get acquainted with the morals of sea lions, and the third will transfer to the bright, motley world of exotic parrots.
In the Marine Park you can have a snack, as there is a cozy cafe. In addition, there is a children's playground, a gift shop and a service for developing and printing photographs. WiFi is available throughout the park. Just next to the Malta Marine Park is the Malta Aquapark.
How to get there?
The park can be reached by public transport in two ways:
- from Valletta - by bus number 12 (the road takes about an hour);
- from Sliema - by bus number 70 (the route will take about 10 minutes).
