Teraflex is a popular drug for the treatment of diseases of the joints and spine. It is available in several dosage forms:
- capsules Teraflex;
- ointment (cream) Teraflex M;
- capsules Teraflex Advance.

Composition and properties of cream Teraflex
Cream Teraflex M, which many patients mistakenly call ointment, is a viscous yellowish white color with a pronounced odor. The medicament has a combined composition, the main active components of which are:
- Glucosamine hydrochloride - a substance that takes part in the formation of cartilaginous tissue, promotes the processes of regeneration of the cartilage of joints, prevents their destruction and degenerative changes, and also has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the joints and somewhat reduces pain syndromes.
- Chondroitin sulfate is a substance possessing chondroprotective properties, involved in the construction of connective tissues, stimulating the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen, and also maintaining the viscosity of the synovial fluid filling the joint cavity.
- Camphor is a substance with warming properties that promotes the expansion of surface vessels and the improvement of metabolic processes, and also has antiseptic effects.
- Peppermint oil - shows distracting, anesthetic, anti-inflammatory properties.
Indications for use Teraflex M
Ointment (cream) Teraflex M for joints is recommended for use as a means of monotherapy in mild cases and as a remedy
- osteochondrosis of the spine ;
- osteoarthritis.
The agent is applied twice or thrice a day to the lesion sites. Treatment course - not less than four weeks.
Contra-indications of Teraflex M:
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug;
- damage to the skin at the site of application;
- severe respiratory diseases.
