Ovre Pasvik - the park of Norway, belonging to the commune of Sør-Varanger, which is near the Russian border. The idea of ​​its creation arose in 1936, but the official status of the territory was received only by 1970. Fauna and flora

In this nature conservation area, mainly coniferous forests grow, the area is marshy, there are 2 large lakes. There are about 190 plant species in the park. There are brown bear and wolverine, lynx, lemmings and other animals.

Many of the species of mammals living in the park are rare, so hunting in this area is prohibited. It allows walking, skiing and fishing . The climate here is mostly dry - 350 mm of precipitation a year. The winters here are quite severe - the temperature drops to -45 ° C.
