- disorders of the autoimmune character in the tissues and muscles of the eye orbit with hyperthyroidism;
- damage to bright radiation when performing welding operations without protective glasses, because of sunlight on the cornea reflected from a snow or water surface, etc .;
- paralysis of the oculomotor nerve, which arose due to infectious diseases, ailments of rheumatic etiology, multiple sclerosis, etc .;
- migraine , when any sources of sensations from the outside world, be it light, sound, smell, etc., can provoke not only a headache, but also marked visual discomfort.
