In the Malaysian city of Malacca there is a unique planetarium (Melaka Planetarium). It is a scientific and educational center where you can plunge into the wonderful world of astronomy and space.

The official opening of the planetarium took place in 2009 on August 10. The building was erected in the Islamic architectural style. By its design, it resembles an unidentified flying object, which was planted on the roof of the building.
The total area of the building occupies 0,7 hectares and consists of 3 floors. The construction of a planetarium in Malacca was spent approximately $ 4.5 million. There are 4 departments:
- physics;
- modeling;
- space;
- astronomy.

To watch the movie, you need to buy an additional ticket. Also in the planetarium there is a special library where you can view the book and news through space. By the way, all exposures are allowed to touch, activate and photograph.

The admission fee is $ 2.5 for adults, about $ 2 for children from 7 to 18 years old, and for children under 6, admission is free. For a fee, you can hire a guide who will acquaint you with aerospace exhibits. Special education programs are provided for pupils and students.
