Passport, without a doubt, can be called one of the main documents, so to speak, a person's face. A person should look like that, so many people try to get a nice cover for their passport. It is difficult to call the choice of covers wide. Basically, they are made of leatherette, leather or plastic. If you want to get an original cover on your passport, you'll have to order it from the needlewomen or do it yourself.
You can use a variety of materials (paper, fabric, leather, etc.) and all sorts of techniques, including scrapbooking techniques. In this master class we will tell you how to make a cover for a passport, the creation of which will take no more than half an hour.
We will need:
- scrapbooking paper;
- transparent plastic cover;
- Manual printer (optional);

- The standard passport dimensions are 8.8 x 12.5 cm, but make sure that the cover is not small or large. In our example, a detail of 18.2 x 12.7 cm is cut from paper. The edges of the paper can be lightly toned with special paint or strong freshly brewed coffee.
- Cut a few strips of paper from a magazine or book, and process the edges of the strips with figured scissors. You can slightly lighten the paper. Then fasten the stripes with a stapler. To decorate the scrap-cover on the passport you can use ordinary postage stamps of different sizes. If you have a handheld printer, type the appropriate text.
- The next stage of our microscope for creating a cover for a passport in scrapbooking technology is assembly. On the base sheet, we glue stapled staples and stamps. Then we place the marks on it, and we paste the strip with the text below. You can sink the background of the strip so that only bulging letters are visible. We put on the plastic transparent cover from the top, and the new thing for the passport is ready!
