The palace of Sodertune was built during the Middle Ages, then a beautiful park was built around the building. Knight Carl Farle became the first owner of a beautiful building, but in 1381 was killed. Sodertuna at that time was a classical defensive fortress with thick walls and underground tunnels.

Gradual transformation of the severe castle into the palace takes place at the beginning of the XVIII century. The modernization of the complex and the construction of the main building, which has survived to this day, were entrusted to the architect Isak Gustav Klason. In the interior decoration, garlands and pilasters appeared, and the doors became baroque classics. Also under the project in the castle there were stables and farms, and all the houses of workers and tenants were repaired.

Sodertuna was a famous castle, which was repeatedly honored with visits by the royal family. In 1985, the last owners of the castle, the family of Eckermann, sold it with all the neighborhoods of the couple Mirite and Apve Farestyle. On their initiative, after a long reconstruction, the palace was redeveloped into a comfortable hotel, in which everyone can stop.
