In early February, Shane felt that the flu virus had not passed by his side. Alas, in a few days, a cold illness in a man passed into bilateral pneumonia, and then the most insidious consequences - renal failure, sepsis and encephalitis, made themselves felt!
The deterioration of Godfrey's health was so serious that the doctors prepared for the worst. The man had to spend more than five weeks in the hospital, fighting for life every minute. But, fortunately, the diseases receded, and by the middle of March they were only reminiscent of the appearance - Shane lost almost 25 kg!
For the entire time, while Godfrey staunchly endured the treatment, bored alone Willy was sheltered by his sister. At first, the dog was unaware why the owner was so long absent. He experienced separation, and even care in the new house did not help for a second to forget about the times spent with his best friend ....
That's why, at the very first opportunity, Sister Shane called Willie to meet with the owner. But this "special moment" occurred a bit out of the planned scenario. The man knew that after losing weight, he changed a lot and realized that Willie might not recognize him. One hope was on his sensitive nose:
