- stick;
- capacity for the stand (plastic cup, can or pot);
- glue gun;
- twine;
- gypsum.
Topiary of paper - master class
So, let's start creating a beautiful craft:
- First we prepare a plaster solution. We put the mass in the container (we have a can) and install a stick in the plaster.
- While the gypsum dries, we create a ball-base. It's good if you have a plastic ball or a large Christmas tree toy. If it is not, then simply twist the sheets of newspaper into a ball and fix with glue.
- Now let's start making flowers from topiary paper. Effectively look these decorative elements from the newspaper or pages of the book. Cut out the oval from the paper.
- Then draw on it a circle of spiral marker and pencil.
- Scissors cut this spiral and wrap it in a circle, starting from the center.
- It is convenient to wrap the paper on a pencil. In the core of the resulting bud, we drip glue.
- In a similar way, we create the rest of the flowers for our topiary.
- By the way, if the newspaper as a material you do not like, you can exactly the same make a topiary of colored paper, curling buds out of a spiral.
- Gently begin to decorate the base with the flowers, gluing them one at a time to the ball.
- The trunk of the topiary is decorated with string or twine, applying glue to the stick beforehand. You can wrap the string with a stand, which is then recommended to be treated with an aerosol paint of silver color. We close the plaster coins (luckily). That's all!
