How to sew a cockerel from a fabric with own hands - a master class

To make a decorative cockerel, we need:

• fabric (striped, monophonic or with ornamentation);
• red cloth in polka dots;
• yellow monophonic tissue;
• sintepon;
• a piece of white felt;
• black beads;
• thread;
• needle;
• scissors.

Operating procedure:

1. In the beginning of work it is necessary to make a pattern of the future cockerel from a fabric. We cut out the main part in the form of a square with a side of 13 cm, we'll cut out a wing, a scallop, a beak in the form of a diamond, a beard.

2. Cut out two stripes from the striped fabric.
3. From the red fabric we will cut out four parts of the wing and two parts of the ridge and the beard.
4. From yellow fabric we will cut out a beak.
5. Now you need to fold the beak in half and sew one side to make a triangle. Details of the comb, wings and beards will be folded in pairs and sewed by hand or on a sewing machine, leaving holes for stuffing.
6. Turn out all the sewn parts.
7. We fill them with sintepon.
8. Take one square piece and to its front side we sweep the comb, beard and beak, arranging them as shown in the photo.
9. From above put the second square face down and sew three sides, leaving the left side unshielded.
10. Turn out the main part with the sewn parts.
11. We will fill the resulting bag with a sintepon.
12. Unshielded edges wrapped inward and sew this fourth side with your hands or on the sewing machine.
13. Straighten out the resulting pyramid.
14. On the wings, the unshielded sides will be wrapped inwards and sewed by hands.
15. We sew the wings on the sides of the pyramid.
16. From a piece of white felt we will cut out two small circles. We sew them in the upper part of the pyramid, and over the circles we sew beads of black color.
17. Cockerel made of fabric is ready. Such colorful pyramid males can settle on a home shelf, on an office table or under a Christmas tree.
