Let's look at how you can make the facing of walls drywall with your own hands.

Frame technology for facing walls with plasterboard

  1. For work we will need:
  • The inner lining of the walls with gypsum plasterboard should begin with the preparation, which consists in marking the surfaces. This takes into account all the irregularities, the presence of communications. Using the level and plumb bobs, we will allocate space for guides on the ceiling and on the floor, and also make notes for the location of vertical racks. On the walls we install direct suspensions, to which the rack profile will be attached in the future. Ceiling and floor rails are fixed using self-tapping screws. To the horizontal guides we mount vertical racks.
  • After that, we mount and isolate all communications. Between the columns we lay the heat-insulating material.
  • We cover the frame with gypsum boards, which are screwed with screws. The top of the screw should only be slightly drowned in the surface of the drywall.
  • We glue the seams between the sheets with the help of paint tape, and then shpatlyem them. The same should be done and where the screws were screwed
  • This will look like a room, the walls of which are faced with plasterboard. In the future, they can be wallpapered, painted, etc.
