For the first time in the history of the record about the icon of the Mother of God "Look at humility" (which means - see how humble you are before You) are found in the annals of the 15th century. Where she appeared in the Pskov region - is unknown. It is only known that it appeared during the epidemic that has befallen people living on this earth.
The miracles created by the icon
While performing services in the church, the clergy noticed that the icon began to melt. The priests saw in this a sign from above, transported it to Pskov, began to pray earnestly for this icon and perform various divine services with it. After that, the epidemic in the Pskov region gradually came to naught and the icon of the Mother of God "Look at humility" declared miraculous. This is how the icon of the Mother of God "Look at humility" in the whole region helped.
Another case. A pregnant woman got jaundice. Doctors were of the same opinion - the baby is born with or with deviations, or will not survive. But the future mother did not lose hope and for three days prayed before the icon of the Mother of God. After a while after the re-analysis, it became clear that the disease suddenly began to stop. The woman gave birth to a completely healthy girl.
Unfortunately, the original image of the icon of the Mother of God "Look at humility" has not reached our days, because in the 19 century in the Pskov region fires were often raging, and the icon disappeared. However, several lists (copies written by hand from memory) have been preserved. One of them is located on the territory of the Holy Monastery of St. Vvedens in Ukraine.

Since there is no uniform style for writing this icon, the Infant of God can be found both on the left side on the knees of the Mother of God and on the right.
