Women's Long Cardigans

The Cardigan is a small military trick that has become a female arsenal. Indeed, the brilliant Earl of Cardigan, James Bradenell, who led the English army, developed a well-known button-up jacket for his soldiers, who froze on the constructions, but could not wear sweaters so as not to spoil the appearance of the uniform.

Now this kind of clothes, which has become truly feminine, has a slightly different look. At the forefront are extended women's cardigans that would not only look out from under the uniform of the 1950s, but sometimes they do not even have buttons, wrapping around the waistband, which, from the point of view of military comfort, is very impractical.

With what to wear a long cardigan?

A long knitted cardigan is a real hit of the autumn-winter season. It allows you to safely warm, while retaining the grace and femininity of the image. This effect is achieved due to a clear repetition of the outline of the body. An elongated cardigan is caught at the waist, a little slender, but it remains open in the area of the chest and thighs. This approach visually shapes a figure in the form of an "hourglass", which is usually considered optimal.

Most often, a knitted long cardigan is worn with jeans, but this is due more to considerations of warmth than to the restrictions that this type of sweaters impose on the choice of style. If desired, you can combine a cardigan with a long dress or a pencil skirt to the knee. Cardigans with classic trousers also look good, but in this case it's better to pay attention to not the longest models, the cardigan will be optimal up to the middle of the thigh. But combinations with too short a base should be avoided, since we should not forget that the main goal of a cardigan is heat. Tightly smelling it over a short dress to keep warm, you will look ridiculous, violating the supposed integrity of the image.
