Hadid wanted to kill herself

Her story about the book of Yolanda began with the fact that she reminded the fans of the disease with which she fights for the past five years. In 2012, the ex-model was diagnosed with Lyme disease and only in 2017 the doctors were able to achieve remission. Here are what words Yolanda remembers one of the episodes of his life, when in 2014 the treatment went into a dead end:

"Then we came to rest on the ocean, and while everyone was happy with the trip, I decided to go for a swim. I remember, now, that I take off my clothes and dive ... I wanted to plunge into the water so deeply that no one saw my suffering. Tears gushed from my eyes and mixed in the salt water of the ocean. At that moment, I wanted water to take me away, and I never swam out. And only the images of my daughters and son, which arose in my head, could stop what is happening. I began to understand that I should live for them ... ".

After this, Hadid described how she managed to defeat the disease. These are the words Yolanda said:

"After I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, I, overnight, realized that you really should appreciate. All this money, fame - it's nothing, compared with when you "eat" the disease. The last five years completely changed my mind and now I understand what really needs to be appreciated in life. No money will not be able to give you happiness and health. "

Lyme disease completely changed the life of Yolanda

In one of his interviews, Hadid remembers the process of treatment:

"Autumn 2012 I will never forget. It was then that I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I had a very difficult condition and after a few months of unsuccessful struggle the doctors had to insert a port into my hand. This device helped me a little to restore my body and ease the pain. I had a port for almost 4 months and in April 2013 it was deleted. Despite slight improvements, after a while the condition deteriorated sharply. In 2015, I lost the ability to write, read and watch TV. Despite this, the doctors continued to fight for me and after six months I had progress in my treatment. "
