Aminocaproic acid for children

Aminocaproic acid is widely used in surgery as a blood-restoring remedy and with blood transfusion. However, it has a fairly broad spectrum of action and can be used for colds, influenza and ARVI. The drug is available in the form of powder, granules for children and 5% solution for infusion.

Aminocaproic acid in the nose of children with a cold

The substance has an anti-allergic effect, removes swelling of the mucous membrane and nasal sinuses, which differs from most vasoconstrictive drugs used in the common cold, but it significantly reduces the amount of discharge in the rhinitis. In addition, aminocaproic acid strengthens the walls of blood vessels, increases the level of blood clotting and prevents the occurrence of nasal bleeding. It is applied a few drops in each nasal passage with an interval of three hours.

Aminocaproic acid in ARVI

Possessing an antiviral effect, the drug is successfully used for the treatment and prevention of influenza, adenovirus and various acute respiratory viral infections. It prevents reproduction and penetration of pathogenic microorganisms through the upper respiratory tract. For prevention in the season of colds, aminocaproic acid is instilled in children 4-5 times a day. The duration of the preventive course is on average 3 to 7 days.

In the acute course of the disease, it is possible to administer the drug inside, inhalation with an aminocaproic acid solution, and also a combination of its application with other antiviral and immunomodulating medications.

Aminocaproic acid in adenoids

The drug is also successfully used to fight adenoviruses and even cures already arisen adenoids of the first degree. For this purpose, rinsing with a solution for infusion and also regular instillation is prescribed.
